learning about (and sampling!) wine together

Normally we meet on the 3rd Wednesday monthly at 7:30 pm to taste wines at the United Reform Church, with up to 6 wines or maybe more being sampled and discussed.

We also like to travel and have been abroad twice in 2017 and 2018 to France - the Champagne Region and the Loire Valley, together with a more local trip to Buckinghamshire to visit the home of the Rothschild family

Meopham Winery Kent

Broxbourne u3a Wine Appreciation Group arranged in conjunction with members of Cheshunt u3a and Lea Valley u3a. A wine tasting visit to Meopham Vineyard Kent Tuesday 13 May 2025. We were lucky with the weather although there was a chilly breeze from time to time. My thanks to those attending, all on time for an easy transition.
