Broxbourne u3a are affiliate members of the Broxbourne Arts Forum (BArts) which was established in 2000 and dedicated to promoting the Arts within the Borough of Broxbourne.
Many of our u3a members are associated with the group and make use of the many and varied activities that are promoted from within the group.
BArts sponsor events during the year at the Spotlight Theatre, Hoddesdon, including:
- Arts Café - local artists featuring live music, paintings, photographs, ceramics, craft, demonstrations, Poets' Corner and board games.
- Backstage Tours - talk, backstage tour and afternoon tea.
- Forum Film Classics - award winning film showings.
- Let's Do Lunch - themed lunches.
- My Kind of Music - free, monthly piano concerts.
