Alex is a retired Metropolitan Police officer, I served with the Met for 27 years, 21 of which attached to special operations, I was a firearms officer with the Diplomatic Protection Group, a Residential Protection officer providing close protection to visiting VIPs and diplomats and also a Nationally qualified licenced search officer.

I was involved in the security of state visits and state occasions as a Protection officer and as a search officer was involved in every aspect of searching, crime to missing persons and anti-terrorist operations.
