This Group is open to other local area u3a's as part of the Shared Groups initiative.

U3a Singing For Fun Group

The group photographs should be viewed as a panorama with 17 members in frame. The other photograps below show Jenny Salmon, Teacher, stunning vocalist, guitarist & Performer with two albums produced together with Group Leaders, Rita Cusumano and Carole Walker. Recently as part of the "Love Hoddesdon" festival the members sang at the Hoddesdon Cricket Club, and the "tented" picutures below show that a good turnout from the members resulted in an afternoons excellent entertainment.

Everyone has a great time and agree that singing lifts the spirits and has positive effects on our health.  We meet at The Mayhem Theatre in Hoddesdon.  There is no requirement to be able to read music or sing in parts. 

VE Day 80th Anniversary

Our Singing for Fun Group performed some wartime songs and some modern tunes for the seniors at Macers Lane sheltered housing. We all got into costume for VE day. Think it went down well!
