Holiday 2024
We have a holiday each year, usually by coach, to somewhere in Great Britain or Europe. This year it will be to Sussex and will includ Pollesden Lacey, Sheffield Park & Garden, Standen House and Gardens, Batemans, Lewes, Eastbourne, Chartwell and Michelham Priory with an optional excursion on the Bluebell railway.

Rudyard Kipling loved Bateman’s, it was his personal paradise. It is a special set in a 17th-century house in the Sussex Weald with its pretty secluded garden, There is also a 13th-century watermill and acres of countryside.

Anne of Cleves House is a 16th-century timber-framed Wealden hall house located in Lewes, East Sussex, England. It formed part of Queen Anne's annulment settlement from King Henry VIII in 1541, although she never visited the property.
Accomodation will be in the 4* Hydro Hotel. All rooms are en-suite and include tea and coffee facilities. The holiday is for 5 days and begins on 16th September 2024.
For more details of this year's trip, please see the printed Programme at the monthly meetings, the description above or send an email via the 'Contact" at the top of this page.
Holiday 2025 - see gallery below
Our 2025 Annual Holiday departed June 5th 2025, and explored the Castles, Gardens and Heritage of North Wales. Including a trip on the shuttle train to the summit of Mount Snowdon . We stayed 4 nights on a half board basis at the 3 star Celtic Royal Hotel in Caermarfon (www.celtic-royal.co.uk). A magnificent trip and well organised as always.
