2nd Saturday

Our walks are on the second Saturday of every month. We normaly meet at 09:30am to travel to Liverpool Street or Tottenham Hale, depending on the route chosen.. The walks last about 2 hours and are about 2-3 miles in length. We go to a variety of places in the London area, both well-known and lesser known, sometimes accompanied by Blue Badge guides, but often researched by ourselves beforehand. Walks are held throughout the year. We will also include some visits to museums and other places of interest. See the EVENTS page or the table below for any notified outings.

If you would like to be put in touch with the Leader of this Group, or want to find out more about what the Group does, please send us a message through the 'Link to "Group Leader Contact" at the top of this page and we will get back to you by email or phone, if you have included it in your note.

Bu3a London Walks, Saturday 11 May 2024.

A recent trip was to London and met at Chiswick Park Station, via Tottenham Hale, Victoria Station and District line to Chiswick Park. After a short break for beverages, the group lead by Gill King and Jane Burr made their way around the buildings of Chiswick Park and its water features. Through the alley ways to the Thames, a few couldn't resist a drinks interlude beside the river. While the main group made their way to the Russian Church and on back to Chiswick Park Station. A well coordinated route for this group. Our thanks to Gill and Jane for taking the time organising the day. A selected group of photos are attached for viewing.

A few pictures from our reccy today for the next London walk on 9th November. Lots to see walking from Blackfriars to Tower Hill. It was a bit longer than intended due to closed roads and diversions all round the city. We went in St Brides church and the Royal Exchange and had lunch in Leadenhall Market. Hope to see lots of you on the 9th.
