We are incredibly proud to announce that Broxbourne u3a has been shortlisted for The King’s Award for Voluntary Service 2026 — the highest recognition for voluntary organisations in the UK.

This is a wonderful acknowledgement of the enthusiasm, commitment and generosity of our volunteers, who give their time to make Broxbourne u3a such a vibrant and welcoming community.

From running interest groups and arranging activities and outings to welcoming new members and helping behind the scenes, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.

We’ll find out whether we have received the Award when the official results are announced on 14 November 2026.

Whatever the outcome, being shortlisted is a tremendous achievement — and one that everyone at Broxbourne u3a can be proud of.
